BCFires source-check update: a BetterBC Facebook post is circulating a named-person claim about the cause of the Bald Range wildfire.

BCFires is not republishing the name. In the sources checked, BC Wildfire Service confirms Bald Range K51490 is a Wildfire of Note / Out of Control, but we did not find an official RCMP, BCWS, local-government or court source confirming the Facebook firecracker/named-suspect allegation.
